Event Details:
We are permitting only 50 people at each event, including staff members and volunteers. For that reason, in order to accommodate as many guests as we normally would at a banquet, we will be holding a similar event on 6 different nights: October 12, 14, 16, 20, 22 from 7-8pm (doors open at 6:30), and Saturday morning, October 24 from 10:30-11:30 am (doors open at 10:00 am).

All events will be held at Cornerstone Church of Augusta (1156 Tinkling Spring Rd, Staunton, VA).

How many events can I sign up to attend?
In order for us to accommodate as many guests as possible, we ask that you only sign up for ONE of the events. (Sign up here now.)

What if you have only a few people sign up for any given date?
A minimum of 15 registrants is required to hold each event. If we do not have at least 15 registered by the RSVP date of October 2, we will contact you to arrange attending on a different date.

Can I sign up after October 2?
Due to the additional planning required for each evening based on the number of guests, we cannot accept any new registrations after October 2. Although you are still welcome to make a donation toward the event here: Make a donation.

Will you still have table hosts?
We will not be using the traditional table host format we normally do because of the challenge in accommodating/coordinating with so many different evenings.  We still encourage you to invite NEW guests who have never attended one of our events before.  This smaller, more intimate setting is a great way to introduce new people to the ministry.  As normal, invite your guests (new or returning) to attend on the same evening you are planning to attend.  We would simply encourage you to register everyone at once so that it is more likely we can fit you all in on the same evening. We will contact you if it looks like that would be a challenge.

Will you have childcare?
Due to current covid-19 restrictions, no childcare will be provided.

What is the attire for this event?
This smaller format lends itself to a more casual environment than our normal banquet setting. Dressy casual is appropriate.

Will there be a meal?
We will not be serving a meal this year. We will have individually packaged desserts along with coffee and water. So please eat supper before you come, or breakfast if you are coming to the Saturday morning event.

Will I need to wear a face mask?
We will be following all recommendations made by the CDC, and if that is a requirement in October when our events occur, then yes, you will be expected to wear a face mask.

Are there additional precautions you will be taking due to covid-19?
In order to accommodate social distancing in a group of 50 people, we will arrange chairs in small groups around the sanctuary at Cornerstone. There will be no tables set up as we have at our normal banquet setting.

We will have a staff member posted at the door who will scan your temperature as you come in. Anyone with a temperature above 99.9 will not be permitted in the building.

Cornerstone has a special disinfecting routine in place and will be disinfecting the area each night after our program, so you can be sure the room will be clean and ready for the next event.

What happens if CDC guidelines change and we are not able to meet in person?
If covid-19 restrictions change and we are not able to meet in person, we will move each event to an online zoom meeting. You will be notified by email (thus why we require your email address at registration) with instructions to join the zoom meeting on the same date you registered to attend.
